There is this boy - the Amiable Boy.
The Amiable Boy was someone who I had feelings for, okay so perhaps I still have feelings for him. Anyways, he was this boy I met at my library, who's best friends with one of my friends who happens to work there. He's a charming young fellow who has a very captivating yet sensitive smile, he also happens to have dark eyes that I admire. Only meeting him once in the October, we exhanged numbers and talked a few times on the phone. That's when he suddenly didn't call me, which didn't really bother me. Maybe he just wasn't interested in me anymore or perhaps he lost my number; I know I lost his.
Saying he was a lost cause, I carried on with my lovely life.
While at my local library today to visit J and have a lovely conversation, sadly Alex is on maternity leave. Dispensing the books I checked out into the book drop I noticed him, the Amiable Boy. He waved. I softly waved.
Although J and I had an entertaining conversation with a friend which made us laugh a lot. He noticed that I was very distracted by the presence of the boy.
"Go over there and talk to him." He tried to persuade me.
"No it's allright, I'll just try to ignore him."
J made me laugh a lot, which I really did need, he even gave me a fabulous idea on something to do.
At the end, I decided to go up to the Boy and ask him to walk me home, it was already pitch black.
"Of course." He agreed, he then smiled.
Walking me home, the Amiable Boy and I had a cordial conversation, I noticed that I still did like him.
"Thanks for walking me home again." Informing him, I turned to smile at him.
The weather was very chilly, snow was starting to melt in the sidewalks and in the road, the cruel wind was still blowing.
"No problem." He replied.
"I wish I could stay with you a bit longer, but I can't." I purred to him, I probably seemed to have an innocent look on my face.
"I know, but it's allright. My friend is probably waiting for me."
"Well, until we meet again."
I went in to give him a hug, to tell you the truth I atleast wanted to kiss him on the cheek for a thank you. But it probably wasn't the best thing to do, at least from what I think.
"Watch out for the weirdos!" He exlaimed while he was walking off.
"I will! But I hope one of them is you!"
Well, now it's off to practicing my monologue for tomorrows audition for Drama Club. Wish me luck.
