Domingo, Noviembre 2

Behind closed doors in Milwaukee, party pleasure is taking place, the one I went to was very eccentric and my type of festivity. The party began at 5 pm, though I arrived around 6 pm. Eva's brother, agreed to take me all the way to downtown to where the reception was taking place; after all he is like a brother to me. I'll always be grateful for him. Eva couldn't go though.

I arrived to her house in my, homemade costume, which was just a bunch of skin tight gothic type clothing I don't wear anymore; use to be into the gothic fashion. There was a mask that Eva was going to loan me for this evening.

"I can't find it, I'm so pissed!" She growled as I helped her look for it in the cardboard boxes.

"Oh honey, don't worry." I responded, she had an alternative though, her mother's lavender faerie wings. Though, they seemed to not want to be worn by me, as they kept tilting in an ackward position. Eva turned around to face me, her beige skin glowed, her face very worried.

"I'm just a bit worried about leaving you at this party." She finally said, with a sigh.

"I'm a bit nervous." I replied, and I was, only for the reason that I wouldn't have anyone with me.

The trick of the trade was to not let my parents find out where I was. Imagine their faces if they found out their son was going to a party filled with homosexuals. Now imagine their faces when they find out I'm one myself. See what I'm talking about? After a time of more conversation, Eva then took out her black lace scarf, very sophisticated. She placed it around my neck, the outfit was drop dead seductive. After leaving, we drove for a while in her brother's car, along with her brother's friend, who seemed to be very friendly. The car was filled with utter silence, until her brother put on music; Rap. We looked at both each other, she was a bit worried still. I used the time to apply shimmering lip gloss on my lips, one thing you never leave the house with. My eyes were out the car window as we drove, after a while I saw the place where the party was being held. "There!" I shouted.

Entering the small building, I went to the basement where the people where, the place was of course decorated in Halloween manner. Music played very loud, as I faced plenty of people. Like every party, you have your center of attention, the shy quiet people, and the popular cool crowd.

There wasn't anyone I knew, so I went to the table where the food was, I took a chocolate strawberry and took a bite. That's when I bumped into my soon to be friend Jasmia, we talked about the food and I immediately connected with her. She even walked me around to introduce me to her friends, which they call their little group, "The House". I met two drag queens, New York and Caitlin, comical women alright. Being introduced, my eyes caught the most attractive man in the room, the Libidinous Charming Sailor. He was a caucasian guy, with what appeared to be green eyes, he was dressed in the most sexiest sailor costume ever. Asking Jasmia who he was, she told me his name and she could tell that I liked him.

I was then introduced to the one guy in the room I was afraid of; the Direful Stalker Guy. He gave me a devious smile, he was dressed in casual clothes, even wearing glasses. Sitting at one of the tables where I eyed the Sailor, Stalker Guy sat next to me. I was enjoying a lollipop, when he tapped me on my shoulder, I turned around. "You know, you sucking on that lollipop is turning me on." With a nervous smile, I then dumped it into a small bag of candy and turned to face Jasmia. She laughed when I told her this. Apparently he has a reputation for being creepy. I don't mind turning men on, it's what I love to do and do best, but I hate it when I turn the wrong man on. Why couldn't it have been the Sailor? But after that moment, the Sailor saw me and threw a smirk at me, I gave him one in return. The Drag Show was about to begin. They were all african american, and one Puertorican, they all looked lovely. The show began and I was rooting for Caitlin, and already she turned it into a strip show. We all laughed as New York was after, which Caitlin took the spotlight. There were dollar bills being thrown.

After laughing so hard that we couldn't breathe, the Costume Contest began, Jasmia encouraged me to compete, even though I already was, and so was the Sailor. I was dressed as a Little French Goth Boy. Two drag queens, one woman dressed as a hooker, Sailor and I were the only ones facing the crowd. Both of us were competing for Most Funny and Most Unique. So was the woman dressed as the hooker. After one of the drag queens' won Most Funny the second drag queen won Most Scariest, she was dressed as the Devil. It was only the Hooker, Sailor, and I up for Most Unique. We had the crowd cheer for whoever they thought was the winner. Sadly, Sailor didn't get much clapping, except from me. Hooker got a group of people cheering, and my new friends cheered loudly for me. It was now between the Hooker and I, she wished me luck and I returned the favor. Hooker didn't get the loudest cheering, 'cause I did. The House cheered the most loudest for me, that's when I was handed the small trophy and two candy bars. I gave big hugs to those who cheered for me, that's when I asked Jasmia to introduce me to the Sailor.

"Hey, this is Beau." She said as she gave him a heart warming smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Beau." He replied as I shook his hand, that he offered.

"You should've won." I told him as the flirtacious smile appeared on my face.

"Ah no, I'm not worthy." Complimenting me, I chuckled as he did the little "I'm not worthy" gesture. Yes, I had a huge crush on him. After leaving from his lovely presence, Jasmia and I were taking pictures with everyone else. I caught the Sailor watching me from afar, everytime I caught him I smiled, he smiled back.

"I think he likes you." Jasmia informed me as she caught us staring.

"Really? Why?" I enquired her, she had a grin on her face.

"Well, a lot of his boyfriends were Latinos." She said with a chuckle, looks like I have a chance.

After the end of the party, Eva came to pick me up with her brother, she had a killer headache. I immediately gave her a bear hug as we sat down together at the back. She wasn't in the mood to hear much about what happened, so I looked out the window. I couldn't have done it without her and her brother. It was an extravagant party.
