Highschool can be a drag, especially if you're the only gay guy that the school knows of. There are those who of course choose to stay in the closet. I have a special talent, and that talent is to spot a gay guy in a second, it's come in handy. I've spotted a few that I can just tell are either gay or maybe they're just curious, sometimes the most homophobic one is homosexual themselve. The friend of mine with the boyfriend troubles caused nothing but drama in my first class. Her face was filled with remorse when I walked into the room.
"I talked to him, but not for that long. He still thinks we're soulmates, but he wants to stay single for a while." She whispered through her arms as she layed her head on the table.
"Just tell me hun, what do you see in him?" I asked, she didn't answer though.
She told me how he would kiss her in private, but not in public. This brought up many questions and assumptions in my head. Is there another woman involved? Is he ashamed of you? Suddenly, and idea sprung into my head as I kept thinking of the situation, perhaps he's seeing her as a friend with benefits. Highschool love, never lasts. In some cases where it does last, one of the two will either start getting bored and start getting distant or either find someone else to quench their thirst for sex. It happens.
Luckily, I had my twin Eva, to help me go through out the day, we both share the same locker. Shocking, isn't it?
"How are you not going to tell her that he might see her as a friend with benefits? If she asks me, I'm telling her straight up what I think."
"Well, I didn't want her to burts into tears...again." I replied as I took out my things for my next class.
This is highschool, things like these are bound to happen, drama is everywhere. There are girls getting pregnant, teenagers taking drugs and teachers who really just don't care. So can't wait until college.
